What range of services does Dentroid provide, with particular emphasis on your flagship offering?
Dentroid is currently developing three groundbreaking products designed to transform dental care. The Dentroid-R is a patented, tooth-mounted robot that allows for remote, accurate dental treatments without the need for needles, sprays, drills, or pain. Utilizing advanced photonics, artificial intelligence (AI), sensor fusion, and imaging, it enables dentists to perform a wide range of diagnostic and treatment procedures such as cavity preparation, crown fitting, and endodontic therapy, all with speed and precision. Another innovative product, Nuralyte™, is a patented device designed to minimize or eliminate the use of needles in dental procedures. Through photobiomodulation (PBM), Nuralyte™ emits gentle bursts of light to temporarily block the function of pain-transmitting nerves and induce analgesia, removing the need for traditional dental local anaesthetic injections. Lastly, the Handheld Femtosecond Dental Laser handpiece harnesses the power of femtosecond laser technology, ensuring minimal thermal damage to tissues and promoting faster healing while reducing postoperative complications. What critical challenges have Dentroid faced throughout its journey, and how were these challenges overcome?
One of the key challenges we faced was securing funding and navigating the complexities of early-stage development. To overcome this, we successfully obtained pre-seed and Series A funding from our supportive investors. We have remained committed to understanding the market and aligning our product to meet the specific needs of dentists. As a small company, building strategic partnerships has been essential to our success and ensuring our products reach the market effectively. Additionally, our rigorous R&D process drives technology development, ensuring that our devices adhere to the highest clinical standards.
Are there new strategies in place to expand your current portfolio?
Yes, we are actively exploring opportunities in both the cosmetic and medical industries, seeking to expand our reach and impact.
