As mentioned before, technology changed the way small enterprises made their living. One of the best examples is how ration shops leveraged technology to help their local customers. When giving cash notes in exchange for goods was prohibited, store owners had no other way other than going digital. This is when the owners started choosing Khatabook, OkCredit, and other similar systems to ease their bills, manage their day-to-day finances, and customer communication to increase loyalty.

Online Food Delivery

Even though online food delivery platforms like Swiggy, and Zomato were used, it was during the pandemic that online food delivery saw a hike in their usage. Along with this, they were also able to reach several customers spread across the area.

Online Education

The next on our list is online education. Many EdTech startup companies like Byjus, Vedantu, and many more saw an increase in their student intake and made the best sales in all years combined. When schools were shut down, the school management turned to go online. Along with EdTech firms, who saw their best result in providing tuition, individual attention, and amazing teachers to teach the topics in a very interactive manner. The main advantage of going online is that the tutors, and teachers who used to teach in person found out the incredible way of making use of the internet to teach the students to make them sit and learn in a very engaging way.
